Frequently Asked

Marriage guidance — questions answered

Clear, direct answers about kundli matching, Guna Milan, Manglik Dosha, consultation fees and what to expect from working with Dr. Raahul Singh.

01.How much does a marriage consultation with Dr. Raahul Singh cost?

Dr. Raahul offers three services: Marriage Compatibility Assessment at ₹5,100 (45 min), Marriage Decision & Compatibility Consultation at ₹11,000 (90 min private session), and the Engaged Couple Success Program at ₹21,000 (4 sessions over 60 days plus 90 days of support).

02.What is Guna Milan or Ashtakoot matching?

Guna Milan is the traditional Vedic 36-point compatibility system that scores a bride and groom's Moon nakshatras across eight kutas — Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi. A score of 18 or above is generally considered acceptable; 24+ is very good.

03.Is Manglik Dosha (Mangal Dosha) a serious concern?

Mangal Dosha exists when Mars is placed in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th house from the Ascendant, Moon or Venus. It is often mitigated when both partners share the dosha, or by specific remedies. Dr. Raahul reviews Manglik strength in the full context of the chart rather than as an automatic block.

04.Do I need my exact birth time for accurate kundli matching?

Yes — the ascendant (lagna) and many chart divisions change every 2 hours, so a birth time accurate to the nearest 5 minutes makes matching meaningfully more reliable. If your time is uncertain, mention that at booking and Dr. Raahul will use rectification techniques.

05.Can I book a consultation if I live outside India?

Yes. All consultations are conducted online over video call, and the office is in Noida, India. Couples and families in the US, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia and elsewhere regularly book — scheduling is arranged for a time convenient in your zone.

06.How is a consultation with Dr. Raahul different from a matrimonial-site kundli match?

Automated matrimonial matches show only the Ashtakoot score. A consultation combines the full birth chart (D-1, D-9 Navamsa, dasha timing), numerology life-path analysis and Manglik/other dosha review with practical discussion of temperament, family, career and finance — so you leave with a decision framework, not just a number.

07.What is the difference between Vedic astrology and numerology in marriage matching?

Vedic astrology uses planetary positions at birth to read personality and timing. Numerology uses the date-of-birth and name to derive life-path and destiny numbers. Together they cross-check compatibility — a strong astrological match with weak numerological alignment (or vice versa) is often where subtle issues appear later.

08.Who is Dr. Rahul Singh?

Dr. Rahul Singh is the founder, a Numero-Astrologer and Marriage Guidance Expert. He holds an M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai and is Associate Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University. His approach combines two decades of academic rigour with traditional Vedic and numerological practice.

09.How soon will I get my written report after the consultation?

The Compatibility Assessment report is delivered within 48 hours. The Marriage Decision Consultation report is delivered within 4–5 working days. The Engaged Couple Success Program report is built across the sessions.

10.Are consultations confidential?

Absolutely. Every conversation, birth chart and personal detail shared with Dr. Raahul and his team is treated as strictly confidential. Nothing is discussed with third parties without your explicit consent.

11.Can Dr. Raahul suggest an auspicious muhurat for the wedding?

Yes. Muhurat (auspicious timing) recommendations are included in the Marriage Decision Consultation and the Engaged Couple Success Program, taking into account the couple's charts, the wedding location and the specific rituals planned.

12.What information do I need to bring for the consultation?

For each person: full birth date, exact birth time and birth city. If matching a prospective couple, both persons' details are needed. Additional context — family expectations, prior relationships, specific worries — helps Dr. Raahul give sharper guidance.
